A Generous Gift from Banfield Foundation!

Young-Williams Animal Center is overjoyed to announce a generous $27,500 grant from the Banfield Foundation®! This incredible support will provide 500 free spay/neuter surgeries for pets in need, breaking down financial barriers for families who want the best care for their furry companions.

“With Banfield Foundation’s support, we’re able to offer crucial services to pets and their people,” says Janet Testerman, CEO of Young-Williams Animal Center. “This funding helps us remove the financial obstacles to care, creating healthier lives for pets and controlling overpopulation in our community.”

These surgeries are more than a procedure—they’re a lifeline for pets whose families may not have access to veterinary care. They improve animal health, reduce surprise litters, and bring comfort to families who love their pets. This program makes Knoxville a stronger, more compassionate place for pets and people alike.
