YOUNG-WILLIAMS ANIMAL CENTER WILL BE REPRESENTED IN ANIMAL PLANET’S PUPPY BOWL XV AIRING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd!
Over 90 Adoptable Puppies Compete for Most Valuable Puppy (MVP) Title
Young-Willams Animal Center is doggone thrilled to announce we have a puppy player in this year’s PUPPY BOWL XV. Everyone’s favorite pup-to-pup competition airs Sunday, February 3rd at 3:00pm ET/12:00pm PT on Animal Planet.
Molly Mae storms the GEICO gridiron and makes the cutest ear pulls and tail tugs as part of Team Ruff, as they compete to win the CHEWY.COM Lombarky Trophy.
Scared, cold, alone, and lost, Molly Mae was found unaided, without her mom and all siblings, in Knoxville, Tennessee. A good Samaritan brought her to Young-Williams Animal Center. She was a little fearful of people, but truly blossomed and has become an adventure-seeking, hilarious, kind, fun pup. At the time of filming, she was just three months old and weighed less than ten pounds. She is now living the city life with a NYPD officer and his fiancé! She was adopted the same day as filming.
Molly Mae, along with the rest of the 93 adoptable puppies from 51 shelters and rescues across the country, go paw to paw and nose to nose for the ultimate match up: “Team Ruff” vs. “Team Fluff.”
For the last 14 years, Animal Planet’s PUPPY BOWL has owned the world’s cutest sporting event on television. Every Super Bowl Sunday, two teams of the fluffiest and cuddliest line barkers and wide retrievers take to the gridiron for a playful game of terrier touchdown, puppy penalties and furry fumbles. Representing rescues and shelters from across the country, these adoptable four-legged players that make up #TeamRuff and #TeamFluff are serious when it comes to winning the Most Valuable Puppy title and more importantly…their furever homes.
