Young-Williams Announces Angel Tree Project
Young-Williams Animal Center has launched their Angel Tree program to help homeless pets. The Angel Tree program allows Young-Williams to set up Christmas trees in local businesses. The trees are decorated with paper ornaments and other Christmas decor. The ornament tags feature two to four items off our Young-Williams Animal Center wish list.
Participating businesses include River Dog Bakery, Village Veterinary Medical Center, Agri Feed, All Kreatures Pet Boarding, Electric Power Research Institute, Package Manager, Wild Birds Unlimited, Merrill Lynch, Forest Park Clinic, Lovell Animal Hospital, Walmart – Turkey Creek and Lange Animal Hospital.
Young Williams has asked these local businesses to take as many tags as they like, have customers purchase the items on the tags and return the purchased items and the tag to the business and put them under the tree.
Young Williams volunteers will periodically pick up the donations. The final donation pickup will be after Christmas.
